Frits Wolters is a petroleum engineer with over 30 years of international experience in commercial and technical leadership roles across the energy sector. 

Frits joined Staatsolie in June 2023. Prior to this, he held senior positions at leading energy companies, including Upstream Vice President at Shell, Director at Alliander N.V. with a focus on the energy transition in the Netherlands, and Strategic Advisor at McKinsey & Company and PwC. He has led complex projects across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region, with a strong focus on capital efficiency, operational excellence and stakeholder engagement.
