Through Staatsolie’s Helping Hands programme, employees from Corporate Audit supported HPG Latourschool by giving the school’s media library a much-needed refresh. The team worked with energy and dedication to transform a space that had become outdated into a brighter, safer and more pleasant environment for pupils.

The media library received a clear transformation. Bookshelves were refurbished, the space was repainted, and the ceiling was renewed. New chairs, windows, a school board and a bookcase were also added, helping create a more complete and functional learning area. These improvements make the room more inviting for children to read, study and discover new things.

The Corporate Audit team contributed their time and effort to a project that directly supports education and learning. The renewed media library gives pupils and teachers access to a fresher and more inspiring school space, showing how employee volunteerism can help strengthen learning environments and create meaningful impact in the community.
